Hadith 1255

أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفِيانَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا حِبَّانُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بن المبارك ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ ، عَنْ أَشْعَثَ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْمُغَفَّلِ : أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " نَهَى أَنْ يَبُولَ الرَّجُلُ فِي مُغْتَسَلِهِ ، فَإِنَّ عَامَّةَ الْوَسْوَاسِ يَكُونُ مِنْهُ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Ma’qil (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade that a person should urinate at the place where he bathes, because usually this causes doubts (whispers/waswasah) to arise.
