Hadith 1202

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ ، عَنْ عِرَاكِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، أَنَّ حَفْصَةَ بِنْتَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ كَانَتْ تَحْتَ الْمُنْذِرِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ ، وَأَنَّ عَائِشَةَ أَخْبَرَتْهَا ، أَنَّهَا كَانَت " تَغْتَسِلُ هِيَ ، وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، مِنْ إِنَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ يَسَعُ ثَلاثَةَ أَمْدَادٍ ، أَوْ قَرِيبًا مِنْ ذَلِكَ " .
Hafsa bint Abdur Rahman bin Abu Bakr, who is the wife of Mundhir bin Zubair, narrates: Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) reported that she and the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) used to perform ghusl from the same vessel which contained about three mudd of water.
