Hadith 1149

أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي مَعْشَرٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ وَهْبِ بْنِ أَبِي كَرِيمَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحِيمِ ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَبِي أُنَيْسَةَ ، عَنْ شُرَحْبِيلَ بْنِ سَعْدٍ الأَنْصَارِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي رَافِعٍ ، مَوْلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " أُهْدِيَتْ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ شَاةٌ ، فَشُوِيَ لَهُ بَطْنُهَا ، فَأَكَلَ مِنْهَا ، ثُمَّ قَامَ يُصَلِّي وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Rafi’ (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: A goat was presented to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), its stomach was roasted for him, and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ate it. Then he got up and performed prayer, and he did not perform ablution again.
