أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ، قَالا : حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ الضَّبِّيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ غَيْلانَ بْنِ جَرِيرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى ، قَالَ : دَخَلْتُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ يَسْتَنُّ ، وَطَرَفُ السِّوَاكِ عَلَى لِسَانِهِ ، وَهُوَ يَقُولُ : " عَأْ عَأْ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Musa Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I came to the service of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) while he was using the miswak. The end of the miswak was on his tongue. He was making a sound of "Aa Aa."
