Hadith 994
994/1317 (صحيح) عن أبي هريرة؛ أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " ليس الشديد بالصرعة، إنما الشديد الذي يملك نفسه عند الغضب".
994/1317 (Sahih) From Abu Huraira; that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The strong one is not the one who overcomes others by wrestling, but the strong one is the one who controls himself when angry."
Hadith 995
995/1318 (موقوف، رجاله ثقات، وقد صح مرفوعاً) عن ابن عمر قال: "ما من جرعة أعظم عند الله أجراً من جرعة غيظ كظمها عبدٌ؛ ابتغاء وجه الله ".
995/1318 (Mawquf, its narrators are trustworthy, and it has been authentically reported as marfu‘) from Ibn Umar who said: "There is no gulp greater in reward with Allah than a gulp of anger which a servant swallows, seeking the Face of Allah."
