Hadith 951
951/1250 (صحيح الإسناد موقوفاً ومقطوعاً، وصحّ عنه مرفوعاً) عن أبي هريرة قال: " اختتن إبراهيم صلى الله عليه وسلم، وهو ابن عشرين ومائة، ثم عاش بعد ذلك ثمانين سنة. قال سعيد [بن المسيب]: "إبراهيم أول من اختتن، وأول من أضاف، وأول من قص الشارب، وأول من قص الظفر، أول من شابَ، فقال: يا رب! ما هذا؟ قال: وقار، قال: يا رب زدني وقاراً".
951/1250 (Authentic chain, mawquf and maqtu‘, and authentically attributed to him as marfu‘) from Abu Huraira who said: "Ibrahim, peace be upon him, was circumcised when he was one hundred and twenty years old, then lived after that for eighty years. Sa‘id [بن المسيب] said: 'Ibrahim was the first to be circumcised, the first to host guests, the first to trim the mustache, the first to cut the nails, and the first to have gray hair. He said: O Lord! What is this? He said: Dignity. He said: O Lord, increase me in dignity.'"
Hadith 952
952/1251(صحيح الإسناد موقوفاً ومرسلاً) عن الحسن [هو البصري] قال: أما تعجبون لهذا؟- يعني : مالك بن المنذر– عمد إلى شيوخ من أهل (كسكر) أسلموا، ففتشهم فأمر بهم فخُتنوا، وهذا الشتاء، فبلغني أن بعضهم مات، ولقد أسلم مع رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم الرومي والحبشي فما فتّشوا عن شيء" (1).
952/1251 (Authentic chain, mawquf and mursal) from Al-Hasan [هو البصري] who said: "Are you not amazed at this? – meaning: Malik ibn Al-Mundhir – he went to some elders from the people of (Kaskar) who had accepted Islam, so he examined them and ordered that they be circumcised, and it was winter, and I was informed that some of them died. Indeed, the Roman and the Abyssinian accepted Islam with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and nothing was examined about them." (1).
Hadith 953
953/1252(صحيح الإسناد موقوفاً أو مقطوعاً) عن ابن شهاب قال: "وكان الرجل إذا أسلم أمر بالاختتان وإن كان كبيراً".
953/1252 (Authentic chain, mawquf or maqtu‘) from Ibn Shihab who said: "When a man accepted Islam, he was ordered to be circumcised even if he was an adult."
