Hadith 912
912/1192 (صحيح) عن علي، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " من بات على ظهر بيتٍ ليس عليه حجاب(1) فقد برئت منه الذمة"
912/1192 (Sahih) From Ali, from the Prophet, peace be upon him, who said: "Whoever spends the night on the roof of a house without a covering(1), the protection is absolved from him."
Hadith 913
913/1194 (حسن) عن رجل من أصحاب النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: "من بات على انجار(2) فوقع منه فمات برئت منه الذمة، ومن ركب البحر حين يرتج – يعني : يغتلم- فهلك برئت منه الذمة".
913/1194 (Hasan) From a man among the companions of the Prophet, from the Prophet, peace be upon him, who said: "Whoever spends the night on a roof without a barrier and falls from it and dies, the responsibility is absolved from him; and whoever rides the sea when it is turbulent—meaning: raging—and perishes, the responsibility is absolved from him."
