Hadith 899
899/1175 (Sahih) From Abu Sa'id al-Khudri who said: "The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade two types of clothing and two types of sales: He forbade mulamasa and munabadhah in sales—mulamasa is when a man touches the garment, and munabadhah is when the other throws his garment to him—and that would be their sale without inspection. And the two types of clothing: ishtimal as-samma’—as-samma’ is to place the end of his garment on one of his shoulders, so that one side of his body is exposed with nothing on it—and the other type of clothing is to wrap himself with his garment while sitting, with nothing covering his private parts from it."
