Hadith 890
890/1163 (Hasan Sahih) From Anas ibn Malik who said: I entered upon the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, while he was on a bed woven with strips, with a pillow of leather stuffed with palm fibers under his head. Between his skin and the bed was a cloth. Umar entered upon him and wept. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said to him: "What makes you weep, O Umar?" He said: By Allah, O Messenger of Allah, I do not weep except knowing that you are more honored by Allah than Kisra and Caesar, yet they indulge in what they indulge of the world, and you, O Messenger of Allah, are in the state that I see! The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Are you not pleased, O Umar, that for them is the world, and for us is the Hereafter?" I said: Yes, O Messenger of Allah. He said: "It is so."

Hadith 891
891/1164 (Sahih) From Abu Rifa’ah al-‘Adawi who said: I reached the Prophet, peace be upon him, while he was delivering a sermon, so I said: O Messenger of Allah! A stranger has come to ask about his religion, he does not know what his religion is. So he turned to me and left his sermon. A chair was brought to him, I thought its legs were made of iron — Humayd said: I think it was black wood, he thought it was iron — so he sat on it, and began teaching me from what Allah had taught him, then he completed his sermon; that was the last of it(1).
