Hadith 876
876/1144 (صحيح) عن الشعبي قال: جاء رجل إلى عبد الله بن عمرو- وعنده القوم جلوس- يتخطى إليه، فمنعوه، فقال: اتركوا الرجل، فجاء حتى جلس إليه، فقال: أخبرني بشيء سمعته من رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول: " المسلم من سلم المسلمون من لسانه ويده، والمهاجر من هجر ما نهى الله عنه".
876/1144 (Sahih) From al-Sha'bi who said: A man came to Abdullah ibn Amr—while the people were sitting with him—stepping over to reach him, but they prevented him. He said: Leave the man. So he came and sat with him and said: Tell me something you heard from the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him. He said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, say: "The Muslim is the one from whose tongue and hand the Muslims are safe, and the emigrant is the one who abandons what Allah has forbidden."
