Hadith 804
804/1047-(صحيح دون ذكر اليد) عن أسماء (1): أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم مر في المسجد، وعصبة من النساء قعود، قال بيده إليهن بالسلام، فقال: " إياكن وكفران المنعمين، إياكن وكفران المنعمين". قالت: إحداهن: نعوذ بالله – يا نبي الله- من كفران نعم الله، قال: "بلى إن إحداكن تطول أيمتُها(2)، ثم تغضب الغضبة، فتقول: والله ما رأيت منه ساعة خيراً قط، فذلك كفران نعم الله، وذلك كفران [نعم] المنعمين".
804/1047-(Authentic without mention of the hand) from Asma (1): That the Prophet, peace be upon him, passed by in the mosque, and a group of women were sitting, and he gestured to them with peace, and said: "Beware of being ungrateful to the benefactors, beware of being ungrateful to the benefactors." One of them said: We seek refuge with Allah—O Prophet of Allah—from being ungrateful for Allah’s blessings. He said: "Yes, indeed, one of you may remain unmarried for a long time, then she becomes angry and says: By Allah, I have never seen any good from him at all. That is ingratitude for Allah’s blessings, and that is ingratitude for [نعم] the benefactors."
