Hadith 775
775/1009- (صحيح موقوف) عن معاوية بن قرة قال: قال لي أبي: "يا بني! إن كنت في مجلس ترجو خيره، فعجلت بك حاجة، فقل: سلامٌ عليكم؛ فإنك تشركهم فيما أصابوا في ذلك المجلس. وما من قوم يجلسون مجلساً، فيتفرقون عنه لم يُذكر الله، إلا كأنما تفرقوا عن جيفة حمار".
775/1009- (Sahih Mawquf) From Mu'awiyah ibn Qurrah who said: My father said to me: "O my son! If you are in a gathering from which you hope for good, and a need hastens you away, then say: Peace be upon you; for you will share with them in what they attained in that gathering. And there are no people who sit in a gathering and then disperse from it without mentioning Allah, except that it is as if they dispersed from a donkey's carcass."
Hadith 776
776/1010- (صحيح موقوفاً، وصح مرفوعاً ) عن أبي هريرة؛ أنه قال: " من لقي أخاه فليسلم عليه؛ فإن حالت بينها شجرة أو حائط، ثم لقيه فليسلم عليه".
776/1010- (Authentic as mawquf, and authentic as marfu‘) from Abu Huraira; that he said: "Whoever meets his brother, let him greet him with salam; then if a tree or a wall comes between them, and then he meets him again, let him greet him with salam."
Hadith 777
777/1011- (صحيح) عن أنس بن مالك: "أن أصحاب النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم كانوا(1) يكونون فتستقبلهم الشجرة، فتنطلق طائفة منهم عن يمينها وطائفة عن شمالها، فإذا التقوا سلم بعضهم على بعض".
777/1011- (Sahih) From Anas ibn Malik: "The companions of the Prophet, peace be upon him, would be walking and a tree would come before them, so a group of them would go to its right and a group to its left, and when they met again, they would greet each other with salam."
