Hadith 714
714/929-(صحيح الإسناد) عن أبي جمرة قال: سمعت ابن عباس يقول إذا شمت: عافانا الله وإياكم من النار(1). يرحمكم الله".
714/929-(Authentic chain) From Abu Jamrah who said: I heard Ibn Abbas say, "If you sneeze: May Allah protect us and you from the Fire(1). May Allah have mercy on you."
Hadith 715
715/930-(صحيح) عن أبي هريرة قال: كنا جلوساً عند رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم فعطس رجل فحمد الله، فقال له رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : "يرحمك الله".ثم عطس آخر، فلم يقل له شيئاً، فقال: يا رسول الله! رددت على الآخر ولم تقل لي شيئاً. قال: "إنه حمد الله، وسكت".
715/930-(Sahih) From Abu Huraira who said: We were sitting with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, when a man sneezed and praised Allah, so the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said to him: "May Allah have mercy on you." Then another sneezed, and he did not say anything to him. He said: O Messenger of Allah! You responded to the other but did not say anything to me. He said: "He praised Allah, and you remained silent."
