Sahih Adab al-Mufrad

687/890 From Al-Bara' ibn 'Azib, from the Prophet, peace be upon him, who said: "Whoever grants a loan of a milking animal(1) or guides someone to a street(2)—or he said: a path—will have a reward equal to freeing a slave."

688/891- From Abu Dharr, attributing it to the Prophet (he said: then he said after that: I do not know except that he attributed it to the Prophet): "Pouring from your bucket into your brother's bucket is charity, commanding good and forbidding evil is charity, your smiling in your brother's face is charity, removing a stone, thorn, or bone from the people's path is charity for you, and guiding a man in a land of misguidance is charity."
