Hadith 681
681/882 From Aisha, the wife of the Prophet, peace be upon him: Some people asked the Prophet, peace be upon him, about the soothsayers. He said to them: "They are nothing." They said: O Messenger of Allah! But they sometimes tell of something that comes true? The Prophet, peace be upon him, said: "That is a word [من الحق](1) snatched by a devil, who cackles it into the ear of his friend like the cackling of a hen, and they mix with it more than a hundred lies."
