678/878- عن عائشة : أرق النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم ذات ليلة، فقال: " ليت رجلاً صالحاً من أصحابي يجيئني؛ فيحرسني الليلة"، إذ سمعنا صوت السلاح، فقال: "من هذا ؟ " قال(1): سعد يا رسول الله! جئت أحرسك(2)، فنام النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم حتى سمعنا غطيطه.
678/878- From Aisha: The Prophet, peace be upon him, was unable to sleep one night, so he said: "If only a righteous man from my companions would come to guard me tonight." Then we heard the sound of weapons, so he said: "Who is this?" He said: Sa'd, O Messenger of Allah! I have come to guard you. So the Prophet, peace be upon him, slept until we heard his snoring.
