620/803- (Sahih) From Abu Dharr [قال]: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, went toward al-Baqi', and I went following him. He turned and saw me. He said: "O Abu Dharr!" I said: At your service, O Messenger of Allah, and your happiness, and I am your ransom. He said: "Indeed, those who have much are the ones who will have little on the Day of Resurrection, except for those who say like this and like this in right." I said: Allah and His Messenger know best. He said: "Like this" (three times), then Uhud appeared to us and he said: "O Abu Dharr!" I said: At your service, O Messenger of Allah, and your happiness, and I am your ransom. He said: "It would not please me that Uhud should be gold for the family of Muhammad, and that a dinar—or he said: a mithqal—should remain with them by evening." Then a valley appeared to us, so he hastened, and I thought he had a need, so I sat on the edge, and he delayed for me. I became concerned for him, then I heard him as if he was conversing with a man, then he came out to me alone. I said: O Messenger of Allah! Who was the man you were conversing with? He said: "Did you hear him?" I said: Yes. He said: "It was Jibril who came to me and gave me glad tidings that whoever from my ummah dies not associating anything with Allah will enter Paradise." I said(5): Even if he committed adultery and theft? He said: Yes.
