Hadith 564
564/729 عن عبد الله بن عمرو قال: يقول الرجل : "اللهم إني أعوذ بك من جهد البلاء" ثم يسكت، فإذا قال ذلك فليقل: "إلا بلاء فيه علاء".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: A man says: O Allah! I seek refuge in You from the hardship of trials, then he becomes silent. After saying this, he should then say: Except for such a trial in which there is elevation of ranks.
