Hadith 557
557/719 عن أبي قال: لا تسبوا الريح ؛ فإذا رأيتم منها ما تكرهون، فقولوا: "اللهم إنا نسألك خير هذه الريح، وخير ما فيها وخير ما أُرسلت به، ونعوذ بك من شر هذه الريح، وشر ما فيها، وشر ما أرسلت به ".
It is narrated from my father that he said: Do not speak ill of the wind. When you see something in it that you dislike, say: O Allah, we ask You for the good of this wind, the good of what is in it, and the good of what has been sent with it. And we seek refuge in You from the evil of this wind, the evil of what is in it, and the evil of what has been sent with it.
Hadith 558
558/720 عن أبي هريرة، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : " الريح من روح الله، تأتي بالرحمة والعذاب، فلا تسبوها. ولكن سلوا الله من خيرها وتعوذوا بالله من شرها".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The wind is from the provision of Allah; it brings mercy and it brings punishment, so do not speak ill of it, but ask Allah for its good and seek refuge with Allah from its evil."
