Hadith 513
513/658 عن أبي هريرة، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: "من لم يسأل الله غضب الله عليه "
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that he (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever does not ask Allah, Allah becomes angry with him."
Hadith 514
514/660 عن أبان بن عثمان قال: سمعت عثمان قال : سمعت النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول: " من قال صباح كل يوم ومساء كل ليلة ثلاثاً ثلاثاً : بسم الله الذي لا يضر مع اسمه شيء في الأرض ولا في السماء وهو السميع العليم، لم يضره شيء" وكان أصابه(1) طرف من الفالج، فجعل ينظر إليه، ففطن له. فقال: إن الحديث كما حدثتك، ولكني لم أقله ذلك اليوم؛ ليمضي قدر الله.
It is narrated from Aban bin Uthman that I heard Sayyiduna Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) saying that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Whoever says three times every morning and every evening: «بسم الله الذى لا يضر مع اسمه شيء فى الأرض ولا فى السماء وهو السميع العليم», 'In the name of Allah, with whose name nothing in the earth or the sky can cause harm, and He is the All-Hearing, All-Knowing,' nothing will harm him." He (Aban) had suffered paralysis on one side. The listener began to look at him, and he realized it. He said: The hadith is exactly as I have narrated to you, but on that day I did not recite this supplication so that Allah's decree could take effect.
