Sahih Adab al-Mufrad

Narrated from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to come to us (i.e., to our family). One day he came and made supplication for us. Umm Sulaym (my mother) said: O Messenger of Allah! This is your humble servant Anas, will you not supplicate for him? The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: «اللهم! أكثر ماله وولده، وأطل حياته، واغفر له» "O Allah, increase his wealth and his children, lengthen his life, and forgive his sins." So the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) supplicated for me for three things. I have buried one hundred and three of my children, my orchard used to bear fruit twice a year, and my life became so long that I began to feel shy before people, and now I also hope for forgiveness.
