Sahih Adab al-Mufrad

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to say: «اللهم أصلح لي سمعي وبصري، واجعلهما الوارثين مني، وانصرني على من ظلمني وأرني منه ثأري» "O Allah! Rectify my hearing and my sight for me, and make them my inheritors. Help me against the one who wrongs me, and show me retribution from him."

Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to say: «اللهم متعني بسمعي وبصري، واجعلهما الوارث مني، وانصرني على عدوي، وأرني منه ثأري» "O Allah! Benefit me through my hearing and my sight, make them my inheritors, help me against my enemy, and show me retribution from him."

It is narrated from Tariq bin Ashyam Ashja'i that he said: We used to get up in the morning and present ourselves before the Prophet (peace be upon him); men would come, women would come. Someone would say, "O Messenger of Allah! When I have finished my prayer, what supplication should I make?" The Prophet (peace be upon him) would say: «اللهم اغفر لي، وارحمني، واهدني، وارزقني، فقد جمعت لك دنياك وآخرتك» "Say: O Allah! Forgive me, have mercy on me, guide me, and provide for me. These words will combine for you both the good of this world and the Hereafter."
