Hadith 452
452/579 عن ثوبان قال: قال لي رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : "لا تسكن الكفور؛ فإن ساكن الكفور كساكن القبور". قال أحمد(1): الكفور القرى.
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Thawban (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to me: "Do not take up residence in the villages, for whoever resides in the villages is like one who lives in a graveyard." Ahmad said: By «كفور» is meant: settlements (villages).
