Hadith 447
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The center of disbelief is towards the east; pride and arrogance are found among the owners of horses and camels, and calmness (dignity) is found among the owners of goats."

Hadith 448
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that he said: I am amazed at dogs and goats. In one year, so many goats are slaughtered and so many are brought to Makkah for sacrifice (and goats are more numerous than dogs), even though a female dog gives birth to so many offspring. (It is Allah alone who has placed blessing in the goats.)

Hadith 449
It is narrated from Abu Dhubyan that he said: Sayyiduna Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) said to me: O Abu Dhubyan! How much is your stipend? I said: Two and a half thousand. He said: O Abu Dhubyan! Engage in agriculture and animal breeding before the youths of Quraysh become your rulers; in their time, the stipend will not be considered wealth.

Hadith 450
‘Abdah bin Hazn says: The owners of camels and the owners of goats boasted to one another (the owners of camels said that they had superiority, and the owners of goats said that they had superiority). So the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “When Musa (Moses) was made a Prophet, he was a shepherd of goats; when Dawud (David) was made a Prophet, he too was a shepherd; and when I was made a Prophet, I used to graze the goats of my family in the Ajyad neighborhood.”
