It is narrated from Habib bin Ubaid, who narrates from Sayyiduna Miqdam bin Ma'dikarib (may Allah be pleased with him), and he also lived in his time. He said: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "When one of you loves his brother, he should inform him that he loves him."

Hadith 422
It is narrated from Mujahid that he said: I met a man from among the companions of the Prophet (peace be upon him), who held my shoulders from behind and said: Listen, I love you. Mujahid said: May Allah also love you, for whose pleasure you have loved me. Upon this he said: If the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) had not said that when a person loves another person, he should inform him that he loves him, I would never have told you this. After that, he began to offer me a marriage proposal and said: Listen, we have a girl, but she is blind.
