418/538 عن الأسود قال: سألت عائشة رضي الله عنها : ما كان يصنع النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم في أهله؟ فقالت: "كان يكون في مهنة أهله، فإذا حضرت الصلاة خرج".
It is narrated from Aswad that he said: I asked Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), "What did the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) do in his house?" She said: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to be engaged in the work of his family, and when the time for prayer came, he would go out.

419/539 عن عروة قال: سألت عائشة رضي الله عنها : ما كان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم يعمل في بيته؟ قالت: "يخصف نعله(1)، ويعمل ما يعمل الرجل في بيته". ( وفي رواية قالت: "ما يصنع أحدكم في بيته؛ يخص النعل، ويرقع الثوب، ويخيط").
It is narrated from Urwah that I asked Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), "What did the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) do in his house?" She said: "He used to mend his own shoes and did the same work that a man does in his house." (And in another narration, she said: "What does any one of you do in his house? He sews his shoes, patches his clothes, and stitches them.")

420/541 وعن عمرة: قيل لعائشة رضي الله عنها : ماذا كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يعمل في بيته؟ قالت: " كان بشراً من البشر؛ يفلي ثوبه، ويحلب شاته".
It is narrated from Umrah that Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) was asked: What did the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) do in his house? She said: He was just like any other human being; he would dust and clean his clothes and milk his goat.
