Hadith 413
413/523 عن زيد بن أرقم قال: رمدت عيني، فعادني النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم …"(1).
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Zaid bin Arqam (may Allah be pleased with him) that my eye was hurting, so the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) visited me to inquire about my health.

414/534 عن أنس قال: سمعت النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول: "قال الله عز وجل: إذا ابتليته بحبيبتيه- يريد عينيه – ثم صبر، عوضته الجنة ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: "Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, said: When I test My servant by taking away his two beloved things, meaning his two eyes, and he remains patient, I give him Paradise in return."

415/535 عن أبي أمامة، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم : " يقول الله: يا ابن آدم! أخذت كريمتيك. فصبرت عند الصدمة واحتسبت، لم أرض لك ثواباً دون الجنة".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he reports from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): "Allah says: O son of Adam, when I take away your two most beloved things (your eyes), and you endure this calamity with patience and seek reward, then I will not be pleased with any reward for you less than Paradise."
