Hadith 400
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Who among you has fasted today?" Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I have. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Who among you has visited a sick person today?" Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I have. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Who among you has attended a funeral today?" Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I have. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: "Who has fed a poor person today?" Hadith 401
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came to Umm Sa’ib, and she was shivering due to fever. He asked: “What has happened to you?” She said: “It is fever, may Allah disgrace it.” Upon this, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Be quiet, do not speak ill of it. It removes the sins of a believer just as a furnace removes the rust from iron.”

Hadith 402
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he narrates from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) that he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Allah says: I asked you for food and you did not feed Me. The servant will say, ‘O my Lord! How could I feed You, while You are the Lord of the worlds?’ Allah will say: Did you not know that My such-and-such servant asked you for food but you did not feed him? Did you not know that if you had fed him, you would have found its reward with Me? O son of Adam! I asked you for water and you did not give Me water to drink. He will say, ‘O my Lord! How could I give You water to drink, while You are the Lord of the worlds?’ Allah will say: My such-and-such servant asked you for water and you did not give him. Did you not know that if you had given him water to drink, you would have found its reward with Me? O son of Adam! I fell ill and you did not visit Me. The servant will say, ‘O my Lord! How could I visit You when You are the Lord of the worlds?’ Allah will say: Did you not know that My such-and-such servant fell ill, and if you had visited him, you would have found its reward with Me or found Me with him.”
