Sahih Adab al-Mufrad

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that (once) I fell ill, so the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) came to visit me on foot. They found me in a state of unconsciousness, so the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) performed ablution and poured the leftover water of his ablution over me, and I regained consciousness. I saw that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was present, so I said, "O Messenger of Allah! What should I decide regarding my wealth? How should I decide about my wealth?" He did not give me any answer until the verse of inheritance was revealed.
