Hadith 370
It is narrated from Harith bin Laqit, he said: When a mare of any one of us would give birth, he would kill it and say: Will I live until I can ride it? Then a letter from Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) came to us, stating: Take good care of whatever Allah has given you. Indeed, there is ease in this matter.
