Sahih Adab al-Mufrad

It is narrated from Nafi' bin Asim that he heard Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) say to his nephew: "Those who had come out from the lower part (the pit), are your laborers working?" He replied: "I do not know." He said: "If you were from Banu Thaqif, you would do exactly what your laborers are doing." After that, he turned to us and said: "When a man works himself in his house along with his laborers," and (the narrator) Abu Asim once said: "works in his wealth," then he is one of the agents of Allah, the Exalted.
