It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: "Whoever knowingly claims to be the son of someone other than his father has committed disbelief, and whoever claims to belong to a people to whom he does not belong, he should take his place in Hell. And whoever calls someone a disbeliever or says 'enemy of Allah' to someone who is not so, this will return upon the one who said it."

Hadith 337
Adi bin Thabit says that I heard Sulaiman bin Surad, a companion of the Prophet (ﷺ), say: Two persons abused each other in the presence of the Prophet (ﷺ). One of them became so angry that his face swelled and his color changed. Upon this, the Prophet (ﷺ) said: I know a sentence, if he were to say it, what he is experiencing would go away. A man went to him and informed him of what the Prophet (ﷺ) had said and told him: Say «اعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم». He replied: Do you think I am sick or mad? Go mind your own business.
