Hadith 326
326/423 عن أبي هريرة، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " المستبّانِ(1) ما قالا؛ فعلى البادئ، ما لم يعتد المظلوم".
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that he (peace be upon him) said: "When two people abuse each other, the sin is upon the one who started it, as long as the oppressed (the one who was abused first) does not exceed the limits."

327/424 عن أنس عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " المستبان ما قالا؛ فعلى البادئ، حتى يعتدي المظلوم".
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that he said: "When two people exchange insults, the sin is upon the one who started it, as long as the wronged one does not exceed the limits."

328/425 وقال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم : " أتدرون ما العضه؟(2)" قالوا: الله ورسوله أعلم، قال: "نقل الحديث من بعض الناس إلى بعض؛ ليفسدوا بينهم".
And the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Do you know what «عضه» (slander) is?" The people replied: Allah and His Messenger know best. He said: "It is conveying a statement from one person to another so that discord arises among them."

329/426 وقال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم : " إن الله عز وجل أوحى إليّ أن تواضعوا، ولا يبغ بعضكم على بعض".
And the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, has revealed to me that you should adopt humility, and that none of you should wrong another."
