Hadith 313
313/404 عن أبي خراش السلمي، أنه سمع رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول: " من هجر أخاه سنة، فهو كسفك دمه". وفي رواية: عن عمران بن أبي أنس، أن رجلاً مِن أسلمَ من أصحاب النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم حدثه، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: (فذكر نحوه). وفي المجلس محمد بن المنكدر و عبدالله بن أبي عتّاب فقالا: قد سمعنا هذا عنه.
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Khirash Salmi, may Allah be pleased with him, that he heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: "Whoever severs ties with his brother for a year, it is as if he has shed his blood (i.e., killed him)."
