Hadith 295
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah (ibn Mas'ud) (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) stopped at a certain place, a man took some eggs from a wild bird. The bird came fluttering over the blessed head of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). So the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Who among you has caused it distress by taking its eggs?" A man said: "O Messenger of Allah! I took its eggs." He said: "Have mercy on it and put the eggs back where they were."
