Hadith 271
271/353 (صحيح) عن أبي هريرة، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " من لم يرحم صغيرنا، ويعرف حق كبيرنا، فليس منا".
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that he said: "He who does not show mercy to our young ones and does not recognize the right of respect of our elders is not from among us."
Hadith 272
272/354 (صحيح) عن عبد الله بن عمرو بن العاص، يبلغ به النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: "من لم يرحم صغيرنا، ويعرف حق ( وفي لفظ: ويوقر/358) كبيرنا، فليس منا".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr bin al-As (may Allah be pleased with him) that he reports this hadith from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in a marfu’ form, that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “He who does not show mercy to our young ones and does not recognize the rights of our elders is not from among us.”
Hadith 273
273/356 (حسن صحيح) عن أبي أمامة؛ أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " من لم يرحم صغيرنا، ويجل كبيرنا، فليس منا".
Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that he said: "He who does not show mercy to our young ones and does not respect our elders is not one of us."
