Hadith 245
245/322 (صحيح) - عن همام : كنا مع حذيفة. فقيل له : إن رجلاً يرفع الحديث إلى عثمان! فقال حذيفة: سمعت النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم يقولُ: "لا يدخل الجنة قتّات".
It is narrated from Hammam that we were with Hudhaifah, and it was said to Hudhaifah that a man conveys people's words to Sayyiduna Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him). So Hudhaifah said: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: "The tale-bearer will not enter Paradise."
Hadith 246
246/323 (حسن) عن أسماء بنت يزيد قالت: قال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم : " ألا أخبركم بخياركم؟". قالوا: بلى. قال: " الذين إذا رُؤوا ذكر الله، أفلا أخبركُم بشراركم؟". قالوا: بلى. قال: " المشاؤون بالنميمة، المفسدون بين الأحبة، الباغون بالبراء العنَتْ".
It is narrated from Sayyidah Asma bint Yazid (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Shall I not tell you who are the best among you?” The people said: Yes. He said: “Those people who, when they are seen, Allah is remembered.” He said: “Shall I not tell you who are the worst among you?” The people said: Yes. He said: “Those who spread gossip, those who create discord among friends, and those who seek out faults in innocent people (seekers of sins).”
