Hadith 240
240/316 (صحيح) - عن أبي الدرداء قال: قال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم : " إن اللعانين لا يكونون يوم القيامة شهداء ولا شفعاء".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Those who curse will neither be witnesses nor intercessors on the Day of Resurrection."
Hadith 241
241/317 (صحيح) - عن أبي هريرة قال: قال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم : " لا ينبغي للصديق أن يكون لعاناً".
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "It is not befitting for a truthful person to be one who curses."
Hadith 242
242/318 (صحيح الإسناد)- عن حذيفة قال: " ما تلاعن قوم قط إلا حق عليهم اللعنة".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Hudhaifah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: Whenever any people invoke a curse, the curse falls upon them.
