They asked about some matters among people's affairs in which there was no harm. Upon this, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "O servants of Allah! Allah has removed all harm except for the person who cuts off his brother unjustly, that is, he backbites him. This is the person who has fallen into hardship and has been destroyed." They asked: O Messenger! Can we seek treatment? He said: "Yes, O servants of Allah! Seek treatment, for Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, has not sent down any disease except that He has also sent down its cure, except for one disease." They asked: O Messenger of Allah! And what is that? He said: "Old age." The people submitted: O Messenger of Allah! What is the best thing given to a person? He said: "Good character."
