Sahih Adab al-Mufrad

Abdullah bin Sa’ib narrates from his father, who narrates from his grandfather Yazid bin Sa’id, he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), that is, he used to say: “None of you should take anything belonging to his friend, neither in jest nor in seriousness, and if anyone takes his friend’s stick, he should return it to him.”
