Hadith 130
130/174 عن أبي هريرة، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: "إذا ضرب أحدكم خادمه، فليجتنب الوجه".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "When any one of you strikes his servant, he should avoid the face."
Hadith 131
131/175 عن جابر قال : مر على النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم بدابة قد وسم يدخن منخراه ! قال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم : "لعن الله من فعل هذا، لا يمسنّ أحد الوجه ولا يضربنه".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) passed by an animal that had been branded, and smoke was coming out of its nostrils. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "May Allah curse the person who has done this. None of you should brand the face of an animal nor strike it on its face."
