It is narrated from Abu Tufail that Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) was asked, "Did the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) tell you anything that he did not tell anyone else among the people?" Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did not tell us anything that he did not tell others, except what is in the sheath of my sword." Then he took out a scroll (from the sheath of the sword), and it was written in it: "May Allah curse the one who sacrifices in the name of other than Allah, may Allah curse the one who steals the boundary marker of the land, may Allah curse the one who curses his parents, may Allah curse the one who gives shelter to an innovator."
