It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that he narrated from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, that he said: "No child can repay his father except that if he finds him as a slave, he should buy him and set him free."
It is narrated from Abu Burdah that he was present with Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) and a Yemeni man was performing Tawaf of the Ka'bah. He had his mother lifted on his back and was saying: "I am her obedient camel; if her mounts are frightened, I will not be frightened." Then that man said: "O Ibn Umar! Do you think I have repaid my mother?" He said: "No, not even for a single sigh of hers." Then Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) performed Tawaf, came to the Maqam Ibrahim, prayed two rak'ahs, and then said: "O son of Abu Musa! Each two rak'ahs erase the sins that were committed before."
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and pledged allegiance to him for migration, and he had left his parents in a state that they were crying. The Prophet said: "Go back to them, and make them laugh as you made them cry."
Abu Murrah, the freed slave of Umm Hani, narrated (she was the daughter of Abu Talib), that she told him that she went riding with Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) to his land which was in a place called Al-Aqiq. When he entered his land, he called out loudly: O my mother! «عَلَيْكِالسَّلاَمُوَرَحْمَةُاللهِوَبَرَكَاتُهُ» She said: «وَعَلَيْكَالسَّلاَمُوَرَحْمَةُاللهِوَبَرَكَاتُهُ» He said: «رَحِمَكِاللَّهُرَبَّيْتِنِيصَغِيرًا» So she said: «يَابُنَيَّ ، وَأَنْتَفَجَزَاكَاللَّهُخَيْرًاوَرَضِيَعَنْكَكَمَابَرَرْتَنِيكَبِيرًا» Musa says that the name of Abu Hurairah was Abdullah bin Amr.
