955/1255 (صحيح الإسناد مقطوعاً) عن معاوية بن قرة قال: "لما ولد لي إياسٌ دعوت نفراً من أصحاب النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم فأطعمته، فدعَوا، فقلت: إنكم قد دعوتم فبارك الله لكم فيما دعوتمن وإني أدعوا بدعاء فأمنّوا، قال : فدوت له بدعاء كثير في دينه وعقله وكذا، قال: فإني لأتعرف فيه دعاء يومئذٍ".
955/1255 (Authentic chain, but disconnected) From Mu'awiya ibn Qurra who said: "When Iyas was born to me, I invited a group of the companions of the Prophet, peace be upon him, and I fed them, and they supplicated. So I said: You have supplicated, so may Allah bless you in what you have supplicated for, and I will supplicate with a supplication, so say 'Ameen.' He said: So I supplicated for him with many supplications regarding his religion, his intellect, and so on. He said: Indeed, I recognize in him the effect of the supplication of that day."
