Hadith 928

928/1218 (Sahih) From Rabi‘ah ibn Ka‘b who said: I used to spend the night at the door of the Prophet, peace be upon him, and I would bring him his water for ablution. He said: I would hear him in the depths of the night saying: "Sami‘a Allahu liman hamidah (Allah hears the one who praises Him)." And I would hear him in the depths of the night saying: "Alhamdu lillahi Rabbil ‘alamin (All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds)."
