879/1148 (حسن) عن الحارث بن عمرو السهمي قال: أتيت النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم وهو بمنى – أو بعرفات- وقد أطاف به الناس، ويجيء الأعراب، فإذا رأوا وجهه، قالوا: هذا وجه مبارك، قلت: يا رسول الله! استغفر لي، فقال: " اللهم اغفر لنا". فدرتُ، فقلت: استغفر لي، قال: "اللهم اغفر لنا". فدرت، فقلت: استغفر لي، فقال: "اللهم اغفر لنا". فذهب [يبزق، فقال])(1) بيده [فأخذ بها](1)بزاقه، ومسح بها نعله، كره أن يصيب أحداً من حوله.
879/1148 (Hasan) From al-Harith ibn Amr al-Sahmi who said: I came to the Prophet, peace be upon him, while he was at Mina – or at Arafat – and the people had gathered around him, and the Bedouins would come, and when they saw his face, they would say: "This is a blessed face." I said: "O Messenger of Allah! Ask forgiveness for me." He said: "O Allah, forgive us." So I went around and said: "Ask forgiveness for me." He said: "O Allah, forgive us." So I went around and said: "Ask forgiveness for me." He said: "O Allah, forgive us." Then he took [يبزق، فقال])(1) with his hand [فأخذ بها](1) his saliva, and wiped it on his sandal, disliking that it should touch anyone around him.
