855/1118 (Hasan al-Isnad) from Aisha bint Talha who said: I said to Aisha – while I was in her care – and people used to come to her from every region, so the elders would visit me(1) because of my position with her, and the youth would befriend me(2), so they would gift me and write to me from the regions. So I would say to Aisha: O aunt! This is the letter of so-and-so and his gift. So Aisha would say to me: "O daughter! Then respond to him and reward him; and if you have nothing to reward with, I will give you." She said: So she would give me.
