Hadith 80

80/109 عن الحسن ؛ أنه سئل عن الجار ؟ فقال : " أربعين داراً أمامه، وأربعين خلفه، وأربعين عن يمينه، وأربعين عن يساره ".
Hasan (al-Basri) narrates that he was asked about the neighbor, so he said: forty houses in front (of your house), forty houses behind, forty houses to the right, and forty houses to the left. (That is, even the fortieth house is considered a neighbor.)
