753/978-(صحيح) عن أبي هريرة، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " خلق الله آدم صلى الله عليه وسلم [ على صورته](1)، وطوله ستون ذراعاً، ثم قال: اذهب، فسلم على أولئك- نفرٌ من الملائكة جلوس- فاستمع ما يحيونك(2) به فإنها تحيتك وتحية ذريتك، فقال: السلام عليكم، فقالوا: عليك السلام ورحمة الله، فزادوه : ورحمة الله، فكل من يدخل الجنة على صورته، فلم يزل ينقص من الخلق حتى الآن".
753/978-(Sahih) From Abu Huraira, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: "Allah created Adam, peace be upon him, [ على صورته](1), and his height was sixty cubits. Then He said: Go and greet those— a group of angels sitting— and listen to how they greet you, for it will be your greeting and the greeting of your descendants. So he said: Peace be upon you. They said: Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah. So they added: and the mercy of Allah. So everyone who enters Paradise will be in his image. The creation has continued to decrease in size until now."
