710/919-(صحيح) عن أبي هريرة، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " إن الله يحب العطاس، ويكره التثاؤب، فإذا عطس فحمد الله فحق على كل مسلم سمعه أن يشمته، وأما التثاؤب فإنما هو من الشيطان[ فإذا تثاءب أحدكم/ 928]، فليرده ما استطاع، فإذا قال: هاه، ضحك منه الشيطان".
710/919-(Sahih) From Abu Huraira, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: "Indeed, Allah loves sneezing and dislikes yawning. So if one sneezes and praises Allah, it is a duty upon every Muslim who hears him to respond with a supplication. As for yawning, it is only from Satan[ فإذا تثاءب أحدكم/ 928], so let him repel it as much as he can. If he says: 'Haah,' Satan laughs at him."
